Job Description:
The ideal candidate will have some experience in a project management role, either as a Project Coordinator or Field Engineer, and have worked in the heavy construction, bridge building, and or deep foundation improvement fields. Past involvement with large scale heavy construction projects, bridges, cranes, pile driving, deep foundations, ground improvements, stone columns, drilling, heavy erection, road building, and or steel fabrication is an asset. Hands on construction experience is also highly valued. A degree in Civil, Structural, or Geotechnical Engineering from a Canadian program, or current status as a student or coop student in such a program, or EIT status, is a requirement for this position.
Where applicable, applicants can expect to work with a Project Manager gaining experience with all aspects of the job cycle, including client relations, estimating, bidding, contracts, schedules, budgets, QA/QC, safety, etc. The role will mostly be field/site based.

Qualifications:
- Civil, Structural, or Geotechnical Engineering Degree or Student Status (Canadian) or EIT status.
- 1+ years experience in a project management role (PM, PC, or Field Engineer) ideally.
- 1+ years in construction, bridge building, deep foundation, and or ground improvement fields ideally.
- Estimating experience is an asset.
- Contract experience is an asset.
- Budgeting and invoicing experience is an asset.
- QA/QC experience is an asset.
- Engineering design experience is an asset.
- Hands on construction experience is an asset.
Compensation:
Based on the experience level of the applicant. Above market for the heavy construction industry. We look to hire long term top tier people.
