Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Insurance Advisor to join our team. As an Insurance Advisor, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, analyzing insurance needs, and recommending suitable insurance policies to clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong sales background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently.
Duties:
- Sell insurance policies to potential clients based on their individual needs and financial situation
- Analyze clients' current insurance policies and provide recommendations for coverage improvements or cost savings
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients to ensure customer satisfaction and retention
- Conduct market research to identify potential leads and expand client base
- Communicate effectively with clients, insurance carriers, and underwriters to negotiate policy terms and resolve any issues or concerns
- Provide exceptional customer service by promptly responding to inquiries, processing policy changes, and assisting with claims
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, changes in insurance regulations, and new products or services
- Collaborate with sales administration team to ensure accurate record keeping and timely completion of paperwork
Skills:
- Proven track record in insurance sales or related field
- Strong analytical skills to assess clients' insurance needs and recommend appropriate coverage options
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is highly desirable
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work independently and meet sales targets
- Experience in outside sales is a plus
- Strong negotiation skills to secure favorable policy terms for clients
