Pay Range
Health Records Clerk will support the operations of the regional office, Service Providers, Regional Director, Rehab Supervisor, and other department staff by completing job tasks involving client records and all related data.
We are seeking:
Health Records Clerk- Ottawa Office
Temporary Full-Time (6-Month contract), Hybrid (3 Days on Site)
Key Areas of Accountability
- Maintaining filing system, data entry and processing health records,

Collaborating to provide requested reports,
- Assisting with billing issues

Reporting all incidents related to staff safety
Required Qualifications
- Post-Secondary School Diploma in office administration

1 year of related work experience in a records management setting preferred
-
A certificate in medical terminology is an asset

Excellent keyboarding and data entry skills (50wpm and excellent accuracy)

Superior organizational skill and ability to deal effectively and courteously with other employees

Excellent customer service skills

Experience with Windows, Microsoft Office programs and all standard office equipment

Strong attention to detail required

Good communication skills and ability to handle telephone inquiries

Ability to work independently, and as part of a team

Strong ability to organize and prioritize

Demonstrated efforts to continuously develop and upgrade skills
