Job Summary
Preparing food materials and making various types of sushi. We are willing to train people who have a passion for Japanese cuisine, especially sushi. With the high demand for Sushi Chef/Sushi Maker, this position has huge development opportunities.
Shift Time
· Shift Range: 10.30am to 9.30pm or various
· 4 days or less a week
Job Duties
- Make various Japanese sushi based upon a high volume of food orders.
- Prepare food materials, such as raw fish, meat, food garnishments, and eating utensils.
- Double-check the presentation of the dishes.
- Ensure all the raw materials are handled and stored properly based upon food safety regulations.
- Ensure all opening and closing tasks are completed on time.
- Help to maintain the tools and equipment used in the workplace.
- Participate in monthly or weekly cleaning and staff meetings.
Qualifications
- Be good at using knives.
- Be positive and can work at a fast pace and under pressure.
- Be flexible for working and rotating shifts
- Be able to stand on your feet for extended periods of time.

Pay: $17.60-$19.00 per hour
