Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Petroleum Installer/Laborer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with the installation, maintenance, and repair of petroleum-related equipment and infrastructure. Your hands-on approach, mechanical aptitude, and safety awareness will ensure efficient project execution and adherence to industry standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop technical skills while contributing to vital energy infrastructure projects.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the installation and/or removal of underground and above ground fuel storage tanks, petroleum equipment, including piping, tanks, and safety systems.
- Use hand tools and power tools to assemble, install, and maintain equipment components accurately.
- Perform rigging tasks for lifting heavy materials safely using appropriate techniques and equipment.
- Conduct basic electrical work involving low voltage systems and wiring connections as needed during installations.
- Support welding operations to secure piping or structural components in place according to specifications.
- Mat travel extensively (up to 75% of time) to different job sites.
- Maintain a clean and organized worksite, adhering strictly to safety protocols at all times.
- Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Proven mechanical knowledge with experience handling hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment operation.
- Ability Experience operating excavators, backhoes, bucket trucks, and other heavy machinery such as rigging and bucket operation.
- Basic electrical experience with an understanding of low voltage systems is preferred.
- Ability to perform welding tasks safely and effectively.
- Familiarity with safety procedures related to petroleum installations and heavy equipment use is desirable.
- Strong physical stamina with the ability to lift heavy materials, work in confined spaces and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Valid driver’s license; certifications in heavy equipment operation or welding are a plus but not mandatory.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals; strong problem-solving and attention to detail.

Pay: $16.34-$28.01 per hour
