Job Overview
We are seeking an Experienced Demolition Labourer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in demolition activities, with proficiency in various construction-related skills. This role involves safely dismantling structures, handling tools and equipment, and assisting with site restoration projects. The position offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects requiring technical expertise and physical endurance.
Responsibilities
- Safely demolish structures following project specifications and safety protocols
- Perform interior and exterior demolition work
- Remove drywall, flooring, cabinetry, framing, roofing materials, and other building materials
- Load debris into trucks and bins
- Sort recyclable materials when required
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely
Requirements
- Previous demolition experience is preferred
- Physically fit and capable of lifting heavy materials throughout the day
- Knowledge of construction site safety practices
- Ability to use demolition and construction tools safely
- Reliable transportation to job sites
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Punctual and dependable
Experience in any of the following is considered an asset:
- Construction
- Waste removal
- Junk removal
- Commercial driving
Pay: $20.00-$22.50 per hour
