Porta Via West Credit is looking for a reliable, energetic, and detail-oriented Sandwich Maker / Team Member to join our growing team. This is a part-time role with the possibility of extending to full-time based on performance.
We’re not your typical kitchen. We prepare fresh sandwiches, wraps, salads, and catering orders for busy professionals who expect great food, quality ingredients, and exceptional service. What You'll Do
- Prepare sandwiches, wraps, salads, and other menu items according to Porta Via standards
- Assemble and package catering and customer orders with care and attention to detail
- Assist with food preparation, stocking, and kitchen organization
- Keep workstations, equipment, and food preparation areas clean and organized
- Work efficiently with the team during busy lunch periods
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and hygiene procedures
- Help ensure every order leaves the kitchen looking and tasting its best
- Ad-hoc projects from time to time
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who is:
- Reliable and punctual
- Positive, friendly, and team-oriented
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Detail-oriented and takes pride in their work
- Able to stay organized during busy periods
- Experienced in food service or kitchen work
- Comfortable standing and working on their feet throughout the shift
Food service experience: 1 year required.
Schedule
Monday–Friday
10:00 AM–3:00 PM
- No weekends
- Statutory holidays off
- Full week off during the Christmas holidays
- Daytime hours — no late nights
Compensation
$18.00–$20.00 per hour
