Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Senior Cabinet Maker to join our manufacturing and woodworking team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in carpentry, woodworking, and cabinetry, with the ability to interpret blueprints and schematics accurately. This role involves crafting custom cabinets and related wood products, ensuring high-quality standards, and working efficiently within a team environment. Experience with various tools and construction techniques is essential to succeed in this position.
Duties
- Read and interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to produce custom cabinetry.
- Cut, shape and assemble custom millwork using hand tools, power tools and other woodworking equipment.
- Measure accurately and ensure precise fitting of cabinet components.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace adhering to safety standards.
- Use construction estimating skills to assist in project planning and material procurement.
- Heavy lifting of materials and components to facilitate assembly processes.
Experience
- Proven experience in cabinetry or woodworking is required; familiarity with blueprint reading and schematics is essential.
- Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, and woodworking equipment.
- Mastery of woodworking techniques, joinery, and finishing
- Extensive experience in cabinet making or fine woodworking (typically 8–15+ years)
- Prior experience in construction estimating or project planning is advantageous.
- Demonstrated ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in a manufacturing or construction environment.
