Key Responsibilities
- Develop and build relationships with local business owners through calls, networking, and in-person visits
- Generate new business opportunities and grow a commercial insurance portfolio
- Conduct policy reviews and present coverage solutions focused on value and protection
- Perform on-site risk assessments of businesses, properties, and equipment
- Provide excellent customer service including policy updates and client support
- Represent the company at community events and networking opportunities
- Collaborate with team members to achieve shared sales and service goals
Requirements
- Level 1 General Insurance License (required)
- 5–8 years experience in insurance, sales, or business development preferred
- Background in the commercial/business sector is an asset
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented with the ability to work independently
- Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle (required)
- Ability to meet licensing requirements and pass: criminal record check, credit check, industry assessment
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: Up to $105,000 (based on experience)
