LMS Reinforcing Steel Group — Leaders in Rebar and Post Tensioning Fabrication and Installation since 1987 — is seeking a Barlist Rebar Detailer to join our team. If you have a strong attention to detail, experience with construction drawings, and want to work on some of the largest and most complex projects in the market, we want to hear from you!
What You’ll Do
- Interpret structural and architectural drawings to prepare accurate rebar barlists.
- Ensure barlists comply with project specifications, standards, and schedules.
- Coordinate with project managers, estimators, and site teams to resolve detailing issues.
- Maintain accurate documentation and version control of drawings and barlists.
- Ensure that all work meets LMS quality and safety standards.
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a rebar detailer or in a related construction drafting role.
- Strong understanding of reinforcing steel fabrication and installation.
- Proficiency with CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, ASA, or similar).
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction plans.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong communication skills for collaboration with multiple stakeholders.
