HVAC Service Technician
Location: Any company branch
Employment Type - Full-Time, Permanent
Hours: 44 hours per week
Salary: $36-$44 per hour

The Opportunity
As an HVAC Service Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and servicing
residential HVAC equipment while providing outstanding customer service on every visit.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnosing and repairing residential heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems.
- Performing preventative maintenance on furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, boilers, fireplaces, and
other HVAC equipment.
- Installing replacement parts and completing repairs safely and efficiently.
- Troubleshooting electrical and mechanical issues.
- Explaining repair options and maintenance recommendations clearly to homeowners.
- Completing service reports, work orders, and required documentation accurately.
- Following all company safety policies and industry regulations.
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and fully stocked service vehicle.
- Participating in on-call rotations as required.
- Working collaboratively with dispatch, office staff, and fellow technicians.
- Representing Jayden's Mechanical professionally while delivering exceptional customer experiences.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2-5 years of residential HVAC service experience is considered an asset.
- Valid 313D Residential Air Conditioning Systems Mechanic Licence (preferred).
- G2 Gas Technician Licence (required).
- ODP Certification.
- Valid Ontario driver's licence with a clean driving record.
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team environment.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to lift equipment and work in confined spaces, attics, crawl spaces, and outdoors in varying weather
conditions.
- Experience with digital service software or field service management software is considered an asset.
