Overview
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Operations and Logistics Manager to oversee and optimize our supply chain, warehouse, and distribution processes. This role is vital in ensuring efficient order fulfillment, transportation management, and procurement activities across our organization. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive knowledge of warehouse operations, and expertise in logistics systems to drive continuous process improvement and operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end supply chain operations, including warehouse distribution, shipping & receiving, and order fulfillment.
- Oversee procurement activities, sourcing strategies, and vendor relationships to ensure cost-effective purchasing and materials management.
- Coordinate transportation management systems (TMS), freight logistics, 3PL partnerships, and demand planning to optimize delivery schedules.
- Utilize ERP systems such as AS400 and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) to monitor inventory levels, process orders, and streamline warehouse operations.
- Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency in packaging, order picking, and materials handling workflows.
- Supervise warehouse staff operating equipment such as forklifts; ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Analyze data related to pricing, demand forecasts, and supply chain metrics to inform decision-making.
- Manage shipping & receiving schedules, coordinate with suppliers and carriers to meet delivery deadlines.
- Oversee the use of Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for equipment maintenance planning.
- Lead initiatives in e-commerce fulfillment, sourcing strategies, and procurement processes to support business growth.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies across all logistics functions.
Skills
- Extensive experience in warehouse distribution, supply chain management, and logistics operations.
- Proficiency with ERP systems such as AS400 and other Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- Strong understanding of transportation management systems (TMS), freight forwarding, 3PL logistics providers, and shipping & receiving procedures.
- Data analysis skills for demand planning, pricing strategies, and process optimization.
- Familiarity with CMMS for maintenance scheduling; experience with ERP systems like SAP or similar platforms preferred.
- Knowledge of sourcing, procurement practices, and materials management within a warehouse environment.
- Ability to lead process improvement initiatives aimed at increasing operational efficiency.
- Experience with e-commerce order fulfillment processes including packaging and order picking.
- Skilled in using warehouse equipment such as forklifts safely; relevant certifications preferred.

Pay: $90,917.25-$120,584.92 per year
