The Site Supervisor is responsible for managing the daily operations of residential construction projects, ensuring homes are completed on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with company quality standards. This role leads site execution by coordinating construction activities, supervising subcontractors, and managing material logistics, while maintaining a safe, efficient, and well-organized job site.
As the on-site leader, the Site Supervisor proactively identifies and resolves issues, enforces safety standards, and ensures all work complies with project specifications and applicable building codes, delivering a high-quality product and a positive customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and update detailed construction schedules to meet project milestones.
- Coordinate pre-construction activities, including site readiness, inspections, and permitting.
- Oversee daily site operations and resolve scheduling conflicts or delays.
- Track construction progress to ensure alignment with timelines and budgets.
- Identify risks related to delays or cost overruns and implement corrective actions.
- Perform final inspections to ensure homes meet quality standards prior to possession.
- Enforce company safety policies through regular site inspections and monitoring.
- Lead safety meetings and training sessions for site staff and subcontractors.
- Ensure proper use of tools, equipment, and personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Schedule, coordinate, and supervise subcontractor activities to meet project timelines.
- Inspect completed work to ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
- Address performance issues and approve completed work for payment processing.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site.
- Identify and resolve construction deficiencies and warranty-related issues during construction.
- Ensure all work complies with local building codes and company standards.
Qualifications and Experience
- Strong knowledge of local building codes and safety regulations.
- Minimum 5 years of residential construction management experience with a production or volume builder.
Salary between $80-100k plus vehicle and bonus.
