Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Server on Weekends to join our vibrant food service team. As a Server, you will be the face of our restaurant, delivering exceptional guest experiences through attentive service, efficient food and beverage delivery, and a friendly attitude. Your role is vital in creating a welcoming atmosphere where guests feel valued and satisfied. You will handle multiple responsibilities, including taking orders, serving food, managing payments, and ensuring food safety standards are upheld. Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation standards
- Manage cash handling and cashiering duties with precision and integrity
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Ensure all food handling, sanitation, and safety protocols are followed diligently
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food preparation and delivery efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness of tables, dining areas, and service stations to ensure sanitation standards are met
- Handle guest inquiries or complaints professionally, resolving issues promptly to ensure satisfaction
- Assist in food prep or other restaurant operations as needed to support team success
Experience
- Previous food service experience in a fast-paced restaurant environment preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS is advantageous
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during busy hours
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper sanitation procedures
- Experience in cashiering, cash handling, or basic math for billing accuracy
- Background in hospitality or guest services that emphasizes excellent customer interactions
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while maintaining a positive attitude
