Duties
- Provide a range of hair styling services, including cuts, colors, and treatments tailored to client preferences.
- Sanitate tools and workstations in compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Engage with clients at the front desk, scheduling appointments and managing client records.
- Upsell hair care products and services to enhance the overall client experience.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their desired outcomes and provide professional recommendations.
- Maintain an organized and clean workspace to ensure a pleasant environment for both clients and staff.
- Stay updated on the latest trends in hair styling techniques and products.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in hair styling, with a strong portfolio showcasing your skills.
- Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients.
- Strong retail sales abilities, particularly in upselling products related to hair care.
- Ability to sanitize tools and maintain cleanliness according to industry standards.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and non-verbal, to convey ideas clearly to clients.
- Previous front desk experience is a plus but not required.
- Must hold a valid cosmetology license as required by state regulations.
