Job Summary
We are seeking motivated and dedicated Kitchen Staff to join our dynamic food service team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting daily kitchen operations, preparing meals, and ensuring a clean and safe environment. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain experience in the food industry while contributing to a positive dining experience for our customers. Prior restaurant experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate who demonstrates enthusiasm and a strong work ethic.
Responsibilities
- Assist in meal preparation and food service, including cooking and plating dishes according to established recipes and standards
- Support food handling and safety procedures to maintain a hygienic kitchen environment
- Prepare ingredients, assemble dishes, and perform basic food preparation tasks
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen stations, utensils, and equipment throughout shifts
- Follow health and safety regulations to ensure food safety standards are met
- Support serving staff during busy periods by delivering food promptly and efficiently
- Help with inventory management by organizing supplies and notifying management of stock needs
Skills
- Experience in cooking, food preparation, or restaurant settings is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of food safety protocols and proper food handling techniques
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting moderate loads
- Good communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and supervisors
