The opportunity

As a Manager, Tax you will be a part of our Indirect Tax Practice. You will be part of a team who identifies planning opportunities to help clients minimize their tax burden as well as fulfill compliance responsibilities and avoid penalties. This position offers excellent opportunities for teaming, leadership, and career advancement to the right candidate.

Your key responsibilities

A Manager, Tax is primarily responsible for working on indirect tax advisory engagements. You will be using cutting-edge technology and working with team-oriented colleagues.

Skills and attributes for success

Demonstrate an understanding of indirect tax concepts and effectively apply indirect tax knowledge to client situations.
Carry out technical research, draft memos, letters of opinion and various reports as part of the application of a client’s detailed indirect tax review.
Develop and deliver timely services and work products that meet and / or exceed client expectations.
Prepare practical and creative solutions applicable to the client’s tax situation and arrive at appropriate conclusions.
Independently manage different engagements.
Identify opportunities for indirect tax engagements.

To qualify for the role you must have

A Bachelor’s degree, preferably with an emphasis on law, accounting, finance or a related field and 5 or more years of relevant indirect tax experience
Completion of a CPA, MTax, LLMT or CPA In-depth Tax Course
Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
Excellent interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
Excellent management and organizational skills
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
A commitment to learning in a technology environment
The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, professional services environment
A team-oriented, proactive and committed approach to work along with a high level of drive and motivation
