Overview of the Opportunity:
Our Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) professionals provide a broad range of risk advisory services to organizations including implementation of risk management programs, defining risk operating models, business process / technology enablement, development of specialized risk programs (e.g. third-party risk, operational risk, reputational risk), facilitation of enterprise risk assessments, governance diagnostics and more. We assist organizations in understanding their strategic risks, and help our clients make more proactive and risk informed decisions. We are looking for dynamic professionals to join our growing ERM department. The successful candidate will be responsible in supporting the planning, execution, and reporting for engagements, working both as part of larger engagement teams and individually with guidance and review from more senior professionals. You'll have the opportunity to work across geographies and industries to take on challenging and groundbreaking projects while building strong relationships with our people and developing professional skills that will help set you up for success.
What you will do:
The successful candidate will be involved in the delivery of client services, business development, and practice management activities including the following:
Assist organizations in various types of ERM engagements including, but not limited to:
Designing and implementing various risk management frameworks (e.g. enterprise risk, operational risk, project risk, reputational risk, etc.)
Developing risk appetite statements, tolerances and thresholds
Articulating and designing risk governance structures for the Risk Function, Management Committees and Board Committees
Conducting risk culture reviews
Implementing / augmenting ERM systems and GRC tools based on business requirements
Facilitating enterprise risk assessments to assist organizations in the identification, prioritization and assessment of key organizational risks
Developing tools, techniques and templates for organizations to use to sustain their ERM programs
Conducting ‘risk deep dives’ for new and emerging areas of concern for the Board and Management
Assisting organizations in out-sourced ERM function efforts (e.g. collection and reporting of key risk information to the Board and Management)
Automating risk reports / dashboards and workflows using Tableau and PowerBI
Participate in multiple client engagements of varying size, scope and complexity.
Assist in the execution of engagements through formal and informal client interactions, research and benchmarking, documentation of meeting minutes, management presentations, reports and development of proposals
Participate and support senior personnel in walkthroughs, interviews and workshops
What you bring to this role:
1 - 2 Years’ experience in conducting/ implementing risk management programs and/ or experience in financial services industry
Degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Accounting, Mathematics or other related disciplines (This role is open to CPA candidates and non-CPA candidates)
Demonstrated ability to learn and succeed in a fast-paced environment
Excellent verbal and written communication
Superior visualization and communication skills using PowerPoint and other MS Office tools
Flexible in working style and willing to learn new ways, methods and approaches
Innovative and creative thinker
High degree of personal confidence and drive
Ability to clearly convey concepts and services to clients
French speaking would be an advantage
Demonstrate leadership qualities, in and out of the work environment
