Airdrie Foundation 4 Early Intervention is an Independent ECS Operator serving Airdrie since 2008. We work exclusively with Inspiration Station and The Village Kindergarten to support a fully inclusive and integrated program that meets the needs of all children.
As a member of our multidisciplinary team, you will work with children, families and preschool staff to facilitate each child’s learning potential.
- Children in our program are 3-6 years of age
- Flexible work hours between 8am and 5pm
Your Responsibilities Would Include:
- Working with F4’s teams & families to develop functional and developmentally appropriate goals for children within a play-based environment.
- Providing daily support to facilitate each child’s learning potential
- Completing daily paperwork, including notes, data collection and submitting bi-weekly payroll time sheets
- Implementing strategies to facilitate learning, emotional regulation, social interaction and motor development in keeping with Alberta Early Learning curriculum.
Your Qualifications Must Include:
- Level 2 or 3 Child Care Certification is required.
- Fluent English proficiency
- More than six months of experience working with children and their families
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic computer skills
- Current Alberta driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle is an asset
- Current Criminal Record check and First Aid Certification (willingness to update)
