Full time Shop Foreman

Macdon, Highline, Agrifac, Weidemann and Supreme.
We are looking for an experienced Shop Foreman to join us in Wetaskiwin, Ab. This is a hands-on leadership position. The successful candidate will spend time supporting technicians, diagnosing equipment, and completing repairs while also coordinating the day-to-day workflow of the shop.
What makes the role exciting and what does it involve?
- Working on a wide range of agriculture equipment such as Combines, Headers, Tractors, Sprayers, Loaders, Skidsteers and more
- Coordinating and prioritizing daily shop work flow and technician assignments
- Reviewing work order repairs for accuracy, completeness and quality
- Assisting with estimating labor, parts and repair timelines
- Communicating with the Service Manager, Service Writer and customers as needed
- Performing quality control inspections and final checks on completed repairs
- Supporting technicians with diagnostic software, service information and manufacturer resources
- Diagnostics, electrical work, general repairs, maintenance and pre-delivery inspections of equipment
- Pre-season inspections and updates to equipment
- Completing detailed notes on work orders and recommendations for additional work that should be considered for the equipment
- Completing work in the shop and working alongside apprentices while maintaining safe work practices
Who are we looking for?
- An individual with strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to organize and prioritize multiple jobs in a busy shop environment
- Ability to make decisions and solve problems independently
- Experience with agriculture equipment is required
- Someone who is a problem solver, finding solutions to complex repair or diagnostic challenges
- Journeyman certification is required
- Minimum of 10 years of mechanical experience is required
- Easy going, friendly and able to fit in with the shop atmosphere

Pay: $50.00-$55.00 per hour
