Ameri Connect is seeking an experienced Air Freight Specialist to coordinate international air freight shipments from booking through final delivery. The ideal candidate is highly organized, customer-focused, and thrives in a fast-paced logistics environment.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate international air freight shipments.
- Arrange airline bookings and monitor shipment status.
- Prepare and process air freight and customs documentation.
- Handle customs processes including remanifests and in-bond (bonded) movements.
- Communicate with customers, airlines, brokers, and overseas agents.
- Track shipments, resolve service issues, and ensure timely delivery.
- Maintain accurate records in the transportation management system.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in international air freight forwarding.
- Knowledge of customs procedures, remanifests, and in-bond movements.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with CargoWise is an asset.
- Experience coordinating air charter shipments is an asset.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
