Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Grounds Crew member to maintain and enhance the appearance and health of our outdoor landscapes. This role involves working outdoors in various weather conditions to ensure that our grounds are safe, attractive, and well-maintained. The ideal candidate will have a passion for horticulture, landscape maintenance, and outdoor work, with a strong focus on safety and quality.
Responsibilities
- Mow, trim, and edge lawns using hand tools and power equipment to ensure a neat appearance
- Perform landscape maintenance tasks such as planting, pruning, mulching, and weeding
- Operate irrigation systems to ensure proper watering of plants and lawns
- Use hand tools, power tools, and gardening equipment safely and effectively for various landscaping projects
- Assist with the installation of new plantings, flower beds, and other landscape features
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas by removing debris, leaves, and trash regularly
- Conduct routine inspections of grounds to identify areas needing repair or additional care
- Support ongoing maintenance tasks including fertilization, pest control, and soil management
Qualifications
- Experience with horticulture, gardening, or landscape maintenance is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and irrigation systems is advantageous
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, digging, and standing for extended periods
- Knowledge of landscape maintenance practices and safety procedures is a plus
- Strong work ethic with attention to detail and a commitment to quality work
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and follow safety guidelines
- Operation of a tractor, chainsaw, and other equipment is a plus.
Prior experience in groundskeeping or related roles is beneficial but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate.

Pay: $22.00-$25.00 per hour
