Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and guide them to their tables with a positive attitude
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems, including Micros POS, ensuring quick and efficient service
- Provide knowledgeable recommendations to upsell menu items and enhance guest satisfaction
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in dining areas, food handling zones, and service stations in compliance with food safety regulations in closing time.
- Manage time effectively to ensure timely service delivery and guest satisfaction throughout their visit
Skills
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments with strong guest service skills
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables and tasks seamlessly
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures in the food industry
- Strong communication skills to interact positively with guests and team members
- Experience in upselling menu items to enhance sales while prioritizing guest satisfaction
