Overview
We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician (Journeyperson or Apprentice) to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and a comprehensive understanding of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance and efficiency. The HVAC Technician will work on various projects, demonstrating expertise in both residential and commercial settings.
Duties
- Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems
- Troubleshoot issues with HVAC systems using schematics and mechanical knowledge.
- Perform routine maintenance checks to ensure systems operate efficiently.
- Repair or replace defective parts and components using welding techniques as necessary.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople to build and plumb new installations.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their HVAC needs.
- Document all service calls, repairs, and maintenance performed on equipment.
Experience
- Proven experience as an HVAC Technician or similar role is preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in appliance repair.
- Familiarity with building codes and safety regulations related to HVAC installations.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics for troubleshooting purposes.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Certification in HVAC or relevant technical training is a plus.

Pay: $40.00-$55.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 – 45.0 per week
