Job Summary
We are seeking experienced and reliable Flat Deck Super B Team Drivers to join our transportation fleet. This role involves operating heavy-duty flatbed trucks, ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of freight across various locations. Candidates should possess a strong work ethic, excellent driving skills, and the ability to handle heavy equipment and freight securely. The position offers an opportunity to work with a dedicated team in a dynamic logistics environment, emphasizing safety and professionalism.
Duties
- Safely operate Flat Deck Super B trucks for long-haul and local deliveries
- Secure freight properly using straps, chains, and other securing devices to prevent shifting during transit
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure compliance with safety standards
- Assist with loading and unloading freight, utilizing forklifts or other heavy equipment as needed
- Conduct basic vehicle maintenance and report any mechanical issues promptly
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and communicate effectively with dispatch teams
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies throughout all operations
Skills
- Proven experience in commercial driving, especially with flatbed or heavy-duty trucks for atleast 2 years
- Knowledge of freight handling procedures and securing loads on flatbeds
- Basic automotive repair skills for minor troubleshooting and maintenance
- Strong understanding of safety protocols related to heavy equipment operation and freight transportation
- Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and dispatchers
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with clean driving record
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $6,081.22-$9,000.00 per month
