Responsibilities
- Define, own and execute the 12-18 month strategy for the enterprise applications portfolio, anticipating where the business and technology are heading
- Lead and develop the platform teams, including managers, technical leads, and individual contributors, including performance, mentoring, and capacity planning
- Deliver high-quality business solutions on the platforms, including Power Apps and Power Automate automations, Copilot Studio agents, Dynamics 365 implementations, and SharePoint sites and workflows, keeping them reliable and supported to agreed service levels
- Own the technology roadmap and stewardship, keeping the estate current, reducing technical debt, and adopting emerging technology and practices (including agentic and AI-assisted development)
- Own integration and data across the estate, including interoperability, APIs, and data quality and security, so information flows safely and reliably end-to-end
- Partner with the Solution Delivery team to align platform capability and capacity with business priorities, own the applications budget and licensing, and win approval for platform-health work by weighing cost/benefit and risk/reward
- Enable Makers (citizen developers) at scale by directing low‑code teams to provide the core data, connector, and integration capabilities required for secure, governed solutions
- Collaborate with the pro-code software development team on fusion delivery (code-first extensions, shared standards, aligned DevOps, agentic development), working within central Architecture and QA standards
- Keep the teams operating safely within Power Platform governance and compliance, security, and data-privacy standards, and represent Enterprise Applications on the Governance Council (firm-wide governance owned and driven by Operations and the named CoE Lead)
- Maintain flexibility to travel, as necessary
Skills and Experience
- At least 8 years of experience leading enterprise application or platform teams, including other leaders or managers, with a track record of building high-performing teams
- A strong track record of delivering business solutions across the Microsoft stack including low-code apps and automations, Copilot Studio, D365 implementations, and SharePoint sites and workflows
- Experience in establishing and delivering a 12-18 month technology strategy for an application or platform portfolio
- Hands-on experience with application integration and data (APIs, integration platforms, master data, data quality) and reporting/analytics such as Power BI
- Experience managing third-party SaaS enterprise applications, their vendor and licensing relationships, and rationalizing or consolidating the application portfolio
- Experience leading teams to integrated solutions using cloud platforms such as Azure (e.g., Azure Functions, Logic Apps, and API Management)
- Strong command of DevOps practices, ALM, release management, and agile, with a track record of owning a roadmap, managing application budgets and licensing, and securing approval on a cost/benefit, risk/reward basis
- Experience operating within a Power Platform (or comparable) governance and security model, with solid enterprise and solution architecture fluency
- A bias for innovation (agentic and AI-assisted development, aligned DevOps) and exceptional communication and stakeholder-management skills with peers, executives, and the business
