Ready-Mixed Concrete Truck Operator (NCR) SEASONAL PART TIME POSITION

WHAT YOU’LL ACCOMPLISH
● Deliver Excellence: Safely transport and deliver ready-mix concrete to the region’s most iconic infrastructure and residential projects.
● Master the Machine: Operate late-model, well-maintained Class AZ or DZ trucks (manual transmission), performing meticulous pre/post-trip inspections to ensure your vehicle is road-ready.

RESPONSIBILITIES & TASKS
● Perform daily inspections of assigned ready-mix trucks and document findings.
● Load and unload concrete according to strict safety procedures and customer mix specifications.
● Maintain digital/manual delivery logs and complete all necessary project paperwork.
● Maintain constant, professional communication with Dispatch and Plant Personnel. ● Perform minor routine maintenance and keep the cab and exterior of the vehicle clean.
● Other responsibilities as assigned.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
● Licensing: Valid Class AZ or DZ Driver’s License with an Air Brake (Z) Endorsement. ● Technical Skill: Proven experience operating manual transmissions.
● Experience: Previous experience in construction delivery or heavy vehicle operation is an asset. We do provide training and safety training for those new to the industry.
● Reliability: A clean driving record (CVOR/Abstract) and a rock-solid commitment to safety.
● Physical Readiness: Ability to handle the physical demands of the role, including climbing truck ladders and lifting chutes.
● Flexibility: Availability for Monday to Friday shifts, with Saturdays and evenings as required by our high-volume project schedule. PHYSICAL & ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS
● Visual Acuity: Must meet requirements for distance, peripheral, and depth perception to navigate busy construction sites.
● PPE Compliance: Must be willing to wear all required PPE (hard hats, vests, etc.). Per safety regulations, employees required to wear respirators must be clean-shaven to ensure a proper seal.
● Environment: Comfortable working in various outdoor weather conditions and near moving mechanical parts. Additional Requirements:
● Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize Canada Inc. approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators. Employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.
● Successful candidates may be asked to provide a Criminal Reference Check
● Successful candidates may be asked to submit to Fitness Testing
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
