Job Details:
Responsibilities:
- Perform forming/framing/finishing carpentry tasks, including measuring, cutting, shaping, building stairs and assembling wood and other materials according to project specifications.
- Install doors, windows, millwork, and other carpentry components.
- Provide day-to-day site supervision and coordination of trades, subcontractors and project activities, ensuring work progresses safely, efficiently, on schedule and to Roadhouse Projects’ quality standards.
- Read & interpret blueprints and design drawings to clearly understand project specifications.
- Train and mentor less experienced carpenters, providing guidance and instruction on best practices & techniques.
- Adhere to safety protocols and ensure compliance with fall protection regulations at all times.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a lead carpenter in residential and commercial construction – minimum 10 years.
- High proficiency in carpentry techniques, including measuring, cutting, and assembling.
- Understanding of high performance wall assemblies.
- Familiarity with building codes and safety regulations. City of Vancouver in particular.
- Demonstrated experience supervising active construction sites, including coordinating trades, managing day-to-day site activities, maintaining project schedules and resolving on-site issues as they arise.
- Must be familiar with sequence of project schedule for single family residential & commercial tenant improvements.
- Red Seal Carpentry ticket is an asset.

Pay: $43.00-$46.00 per hour
