Job Summary

We are seeking a Dental Technician to join our dental laboratory team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing nightguards, crowns. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and a strong understanding of dental materials and techniques. The Dental Technician will collaborate closely with dental professionals to ensure the delivery of functional and aesthetic restorations that meet patient needs.
Responsibilities
- Design dental restorations based on specifications provided by dentists.
- Utilize 3shape dental CAD software to design precise nightguards when applicable.
- Fabricate nightguards, essex retainer, invisaligns
- Export files from 3shape, itero, meditlink, DS core
- Follow laboratory procedures to ensure accuracy and quality.
- Pour impressions when needed to make models.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laboratory environment in compliance with safety standards.
- Communicate effectively with dental staff regarding adjustments or modifications needed.
- Keep detailed records of work performed.
Experience
- Previous laboratory experience in a dental setting is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with CAD software is a plus but not mandatory.
- Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures is essential for accurate fabrication.
- Experience with laboratory techniques related to ceramics, metals, or polymers is advantageous but not essential.
