Job Summary
We are looking for a friendly and efficient Food Counter Attendant to join our vibrant food service team. In this role, you'll be the face of our establishment, providing excellent customer service while preparing and serving food in a fast-paced environment. Duties
- Prepare and assemble food items according to established recipes and quality standards.
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems, including Micros POS, for order processing and cash handling.
- Serve customers with a friendly attitude, taking orders accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the counter area, following food safety and sanitation regulations.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and basic math calculations.
- Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales opportunities.
- Assist with inventory management by restocking supplies and reporting shortages or issues promptly.
Skills
- Previous experience in food preparation, food service, or restaurant environments is highly desirable.
- Proficiency with POS systems, especially Micros POS, for smooth order processing.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
- Good time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy periods.
- Knowledge of food handling safety practices and sanitation standards.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction accuracy.
- Ability to work well within a team in a fast-paced setting while maintaining a positive attitude.
