We are seeking a General Duty Radiation Therapist to provide radiation therapy services to oncology patients while supporting the education and training of students and healthcare professionals. The successful candidate will work as part of a multidisciplinary oncology team and may be assigned to treatment, simulation, or other clinical areas based on departmental needs and recent experience.
Deliver radiation therapy treatments according to established clinical protocols.
Participate in patient simulation and treatment planning processes.
Provide clinical instruction and mentorship to radiation therapy students, residents, and other healthcare learners.
Collaborate with physicians, physicists, and healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient care.
Maintain accurate patient records and treatment documentation.
Support quality improvement initiatives and departmental projects.
Provide coverage in various radiation therapy areas as required.
Current registration with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT).
Current CPR - BLS Provider certification.
Eligible to legally work in Canada.
Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team environment.
Commitment to professional development and continuing education.
Experience with ARIA Radiation Oncology systems.
Experience operating Varian Linear Accelerators and Siemens CT equipment.
Bachelor's degree in Radiation Science, Health Science, or related field.
Advanced credentials such as CMD and/or CDC.
Additional radiation therapy-related certifications or coursework.
Professional awards, recognitions, or honors.
French language proficiency.
