Due to strong growth in our business and continued plans for expansion, Northland Floral is looking for an HR Assistant. We are searching for a passionate, easygoing, and self-motivated individual to work close with our Human Resources Team. Duties and Responsibilities:
o Report to and work closely with the Human Resources Manager
o Clerical tasks and administrative duties: file, handle mail, answer phone calls, data entry
o Employee information maintenance and updating
o Filing, faxing, scanning and various other document tasks
o Assists new hires in their onboarding, orientation and all requirements for training
o Provides information to employees regarding benefits and other HR processes
o Maintain accurate employee files and the HR filing system in accordance with legal requirements and company policies
o Other duties as assigned by the Human Resources Manager.
Qualifications:
o Diploma or degree in Human Resources/Office Administration is preferred
o Strong knowledge of the English and Spanish language
o Ability to translate documents from English to Spanish and vice versa is an asset
o Multitasking – ability to prioritize tasks
o Attention to detail
o Professional communication and strong relationship building skills
o Great positive attitude
o Problem solver.
