Overview
We are seeking a skilled Truck Mechanic to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical background, with experience in automotive repair and maintenance. This role requires hands-on expertise in diagnosing and resolving issues in various Truck and trailer equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety. The Automotive Mechanic will work with a range of tools and machinery, contributing to the overall efficiency of our operations.
Duties
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on Truck and Trailer.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete repairs and installations.
- Diagnose mechanical issues by reviewing schematics and conducting thorough inspections.
- Conduct electrical repairs and troubleshoot electrical systems within vehicles.
- Operate heavy equipment safely while adhering to all safety protocols.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating repair needs clearly to clients.
- Assist in the assembly of new machinery or equipment as required.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly stored after use.
- Collaborate with team members to enhance operational efficiency.
Requirements
- At least 6 months mechanic experience required with a strong understanding of Truck & Trailer, automotive repair principles.
- Dealership experience is preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with HVAC systems, welding techniques, and industrial equipment is advantageous.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as needed during repairs and maintenance tasks.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate various types of machinery safely.
- Experience working with heavy duty mechanic tools and other heavy equipment is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in diagnosing issues.
- Strong communication skills for effective customer interaction and teamwork.
