Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and quality standards, ensuring consistency and excellence in every dish
- Assist with food handling, storage, and sanitation procedures to maintain a safe and clean kitchen environment
- Support meal preparation by chopping, assembling ingredients, and executing cooking techniques efficiently
- Ensure timely service by coordinating with front-of-house staff to meet guest expectations
- Follow food safety guidelines diligently, including proper use of gloves, hair restraints, and temperature controls
- Maintain cleanliness of work stations, equipment, and utensils throughout shifts
- Contribute to a positive team atmosphere by communicating effectively and supporting fellow kitchen staff
Requirements
- Prior food service experience or restaurant experience preferred; a passion for cooking is essential
- Knowledge of food handling procedures and safety standards in the food industry
- Ability to work quickly and accurately in a high-pressure environment
