Hiring a Contract Digital Marketing Manager - Laundry & Home Care

Duration: 12 Months

Client Location: Mississauga, ON

Work Schedule: 8:00 AM- 4:00 Pm- Monday-Friday

Pay Rate $30.00-38.00/hourly

Preferred Qualifications:
  • FMCG/CPG experience
  • Ecommerce experience
  • Experience with tracking reviews
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Minimum 3 years of consumer digital marketing experience across multiple activities
Experience briefing and steering agencies in a digital setting

  • Experience in social media marketing
  • Knowledge of search, SEO/SEM
  • Knowledge of key e-commerce best practices
  • Strong analytical skills, data-driven marketing know-how
  • Post-program analysis
  • Understanding of media planning basics (e.g., CPM, reach/frequency, etc.)
  • Digital Media Planning experience
  • Ability to work in a collaborative environment, a positive and enthusiastic outlook
  • Excellent communication skills (written and oral)
Preferred Education: BBA/BA/BComm (Business, Social Sciences - Psychology, Sociology, Economics)

The Digital Marketing Manager is responsible for the execution of digital and ecommerce marketing activity for our entire portfolio of Laundry and Home Care brands. The role is responsible for managing key projects related to digital & e-comm infrastructure, content maintenance and social channel management

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Operate as a subject matter expert for digital and social programs, assessing new vendors, instilling best practices and industry trends to ensure best in class execution of digital initiatives
  • In collaboration with internal partners and agencies, lead the development and maintenance of branded content such as websites, social channels, e-commerce assets, SEO / SEM
  • Key input to the annual brand planning process for LHC, assessing recommendations and crafting digital marketing objectives & strategy along with Brand team and agency partners
  • Bring the brand strategies & platforms to life through vibrant and engaging digital communications, building the digital content calendar to achieve brand objectives
  • Provide strategic guidance to brand leads as the digital expert with line of sight to execution across all LHC brands • Alongside internal and external counterparts, develop ecommerce strategy, including guiding go-to market execution for E-Comm innovation
  • Maintain & optimize E-Comm assortment, developing assets & content e-commerce listings based on brand objectives and an analysis of ROAS
  • Along with internal sales lead, develop and optimize E-Commerce activity plans by key customer. Optimizing to accelerate profitable growth
  • Develop clear KPIs and learning agendas for all activities / implement a post program analysis
  • Contribute to the effective briefing and steering of agencies
  • Collaborate with international and U.S digital teams to bring best practices to Canada and leverage international / USA material as well as championing Canadian success stories
