Job Title: Apprentice Electrician

Position Summary
The Apprentice Electrician plays a vital role in supporting the electrical team by assisting in the installation, maintenance, and repair of solar systems. Under the guidance of experienced electricians, the apprentice will learn and apply their gained experience to contribute to the successful completion of projects.
Duties and Responsibilities
· Assist the Journeyperson electrician with various electrical tasks.
· Installing solar panels (mounting & connecting solar panels)
· Running wiring from solar panels to inverters to electrical panels.
· Conducting tests to ensure solar panels are functioning correctly.
· Read and interpret plans.
· Maintain company tools and equipment.
· Completing Field-level hazard assessments.
· Loading tools and equipment to the site
· Maintaining proper housekeeping, particularly in a customer’s home.
· Customer service
· Ability to work out of town on an as-needed basis.
· Comfortable working in confined spaces
· Other duties as required
Qualifications
· High school diploma
· Basic understanding of Electrical codes.
· The ability to use powered tools.
· Fall Protection
· Ability to lift 50 Lbs
· Class 5 driver's license
· Strong attention to detail & communication Skills.
