Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Manager to oversee operations in our fast-paced food service environment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in restaurant management, with a proven ability to lead teams, ensure exceptional customer service, and maintain high standards of food safety and quality. This role requires a hands-on approach to managing daily operations, staff training, and inventory control while fostering a positive work atmosphere.
Duties
- Supervise daily restaurant operations, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Manage staff schedules, conduct interviews, and oversee the training and development of team members.
- Maintain inventory control by monitoring stock levels, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste.
- Ensure high standards of food preparation and presentation in accordance with food safety regulations.
- Utilize POS systems (Aloha POS, Micros POS) for cash handling and transaction management.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Collaborate with kitchen management to ensure efficient food production and quality control.
- Implement budgeting strategies to optimize operational efficiency while maintaining profitability.
- Foster a positive team environment through effective leadership and communication skills.
- Oversee shift management to ensure smooth transitions between shifts and maintain consistent service levels.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in restaurant management or a similar role within the food industry.
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling.
- Experience with inventory control and budgeting in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members.
- Proficiency in POS systems (Toast POS) is preferred.
- Background in fine dining or casual dining establishments is advantageous.
- Strong customer service orientation with excellent communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
