Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Medical Director to lead our medical aesthetics division, guiding clinical practices and ensuring the highest standards of patient care. This role is ideal for a licensed Physician or Nurse Practitioner with a passion for aesthetic medicine, innovation, and leadership. Responsibilities
- Provide expert medical oversight for all aesthetic procedures, ensuring compliance with safety standards and best practices
- Develop, review, and update treatment protocols, patient care policies, and clinical guidelines to maintain high-quality service delivery
- Lead clinical staff training sessions on new treatments, techniques, and safety procedures to promote ongoing professional development
- Collaborate with administrative teams to optimize clinic operations, including scheduling, patient flow, and resource allocation
- Monitor patient outcomes and satisfaction levels to identify areas for improvement and implement effective solutions
- Conduct regular audits of clinical documentation to ensure accuracy, confidentiality, and regulatory compliance
- Engage in research initiatives to stay current with emerging trends in medical aesthetics and incorporate innovative approaches into practice
Experience
- Medical degree (MD or DO) or Nurse Practitioner certification with relevant licensure in aesthetics or dermatology preferred
- Proven experience in medical aesthetics or related fields such as dermatology, plastic surgery, or cosmetic medicine
- Demonstrated leadership skills with supervising experience in clinical settings
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, hospital experience, nursing practices, and patient care protocols
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), Microsoft Outlook for communication management
- Excellent communication skills in English; bilingual abilities in French or other languages are a plus
- Experience with research methodologies, process improvement initiatives, change management strategies and project management tools
- Familiarity with medical office software such as Dentrix or similar systems is advantageous
- Ability to manage budgets effectively while maintaining exceptional customer service standards
- Skilled in negotiation, human resources practices including staff supervision and organizational skills
