ServiceMaster Clean Mississauga is currently looking to hire Site Managers for our client located within the Brampton and Bolton areas.
As the Site Manager, you will be a key part in the execution of ServiceMaster Clean’s operational processes, with a focus on delivering outstanding results for our client.
You will be responsible for managing the day to day services we provide at the site level.
That includes scheduling staff, managing customer relations, and strict adherence to health and safety regulations.
Job Description
- Report directly to Regional Management to ensure that the site is achieving all operational goals
- Required to visit prescribed client sites on basis of a "route" for customer service, inspection audits, emergency situations
- Required clock in/out at each client site for client and employer visibility
- Schedule staff to ensure coverage for 24/7 operations.
- Perform regular inspections of facilities to ensure compliance with scope of work.
- Manage staffing to ensure budget compliance.
- Regular H&S meetings
- Providing guidance and assisting the team in troubleshooting customer requests/complaints or deficiencies identified during inspections/audits
- Meet regularly with ServiceMaster supervisory staff
- Day to day management of all supervisors and staff on site
- Provide strong and professional leadership, setting an example for all subordinate staff
- Provide training, and enforce policy adherence, for all staff
- Actively promote, inform/train, and enforce adherence to, the highest standard of health and safety
- Perform reviews, offer guidance/corrective measures, and/or terminate non-performing staff (when necessary)
- Serve as first point of contact for client’s site management
- Participate in regular meetings with senior and executive management
- Report metrics, solutions, and concerns to ServiceMaster Regional Management
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Must have valid SIN card and be authorized to work full-time in Canada.
- Valid Driver’s License and vehicle (you will be requested to provide a driver’s abstract)
- Minimum 3 -5 years management experience in janitorial services.
- Experience in distribution centre or logistics would be an asset.
- Bi-lingual in spanish and/or hindi/punjabi an asset.
- Proven ability to manage teams, both large and small.
- Experience and demonstrated success representing the company’s interests in senior client management meetings
- Highly organized and proficient in managing administrative tasks.
- Able to prioritize and manage multiple simultaneous tasks appropriately.
- Demonstrated ability to coach, develop and train individuals.
- Working knowledge of current commercial cleaning methods and practices.
- Demonstrated proficiency with cleaning equipment, including large commercial floor scrubbers
- Experienced and proficient with technology (computer, web-based, app and mobile functions).
- Proficient in MS365 suite applications
- Strong written and oral communication.
- Willing to work flexible hours and days – some evenings and weekend work will be required
- Position includes an on-call component. Must be available to address urgent/emergency concerns when required.
Compensation
The company offers competitive compensation packages, including:
- Annual Salary $45,000 - $55,000 (starting salary will be based upon skills and experience)
