Duties
- Safely operate volumetric concrete trucks, ensuring accurate mixing and delivery of concrete according to project specifications
- Conduct pre-trip inspections of the vehicle and equipment, maintaining compliance with safety standards and mechanical requirements
- Coordinate with site supervisors and crew members to schedule deliveries and ensure timely placement of concrete
- Assist with loading materials such as rebar, rebar installation, or other construction components when necessary
- Maintain detailed logs of deliveries, including volume dispensed, delivery times, and any issues encountered during transport
- Operate auxiliary heavy equipment such as loaders, excavators, or dump trucks to support site operations when required
- Follow all safety protocols related to construction site operations, vehicle operation, and material handling
Requirements
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL)Dz or AZ with a clean driving record suitable for operating heavy vehicles
- Proven experience operating commercial vehicles, especially concrete mixers or dump trucks in a construction environment
- Knowledge of heavy equipment operation including loaders, excavators, and concrete pumping systems
- Familiarity with construction site procedures such as paving, formwork, rebar installation, and concrete finishing techniques
- Mechanical knowledge for basic troubleshooting and maintenance of trucks and auxiliary equipment
- Strong understanding of safety regulations related to commercial vehicle operation and construction sites
- Ability to work in physically demanding environments while maintaining attention to detail and safety standards
