We are seeking a detail-oriented, thorough, and organized Intermediate Accountant to join our growing team. In this position, you will play a key role in managing the financial aspects of our business, including the creation and analysis of financial reports, budgeting, inventory, forecasting, and ensuring compliance with regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain financial records: Ensure all financial transactions are recorded accurately and in compliance with legal and company policies.
- Financial analysis: Conduct regular analysis of financial performance, including variance analysis and trend forecasting.
- Budgeting and forecasting: Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts, and report any variances from the actual figures.
- Audit support: Provide support during internal and external audits by preparing necessary schedules and reports.
- Financial reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports for management and stakeholders.
- Cash flow management: Monitor and manage cash flow to ensure sufficient liquidity for business operations.
- Cost accounting: Analyze production costs and recommend cost-saving measures.
- Asset management: Keep track of the company’s assets and calculate depreciation and amortization schedules.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards, and stay updated on changes in financial laws and guidelines.
- Process improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy in financial reporting.
- Stakeholder communication: Communicate financial information and insights to non-financial stakeholders in a clear and understandable manner.
- Team collaboration: Work closely with other team members to ensure that financial considerations are factored into business decisions.

Education and Experience:
· A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is required.
· A minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting or related field.
· Proficient in accounting software, specifically QuickBooks Online and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Apps.
· Prior experience working with a portfolio company, or similar is an asset.
