Cleaner Supervisor

Compensation & Hours
- Wage: $36.60 / hour
- Hours: 30 hours / week
- Terms: Permanent, full-time
Location & Schedule
- Workplace: On the road (client sites across Metro Vancouver, the Fraser Valley, and the Sea-to-Sky corridor, including Whistler and Abbotsford).
- Schedule: Weekly variable shifts, including early mornings, overnights, evenings, and weekends.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of specialized cleaning staff performing commercial kitchen exhaust cleaning
- Hire and train, or arrange training for, cleaning staff on procedures, equipment use, and workplace safety
- Inspect completed work to ensure alignment with NFPA 96 standards.
- Prepare cost estimates, keep records, and receive payment for specialized cleaning jobs
- Establish work schedules and co-ordinate job assignments across multiple client sites
- Travel to and work at client locations throughout Metro Vancouver, the Fraser Valley, and the Sea-to-Sky region
Requirements
- Experience: Previous experience cleaning commercial kitchen exhaust/hood systems is required, as the supervisor inspects completed work, trains staff, and ensures NFPA 96 safety standards are met.
- Education & Language: Secondary school completion; English proficiency.
- Licensing & Travel: Valid B.C. Class 5 or 7 driver's license.
- Physical Demands: Ability to work at heights, navigate confined spaces, and handle physically demanding labor.
- Availability: Must be available for a highly variable schedule (overnights, early mornings, and weekends).
