What is a day in the life of an FA Occupational Therapist?
- You will assess and treat individuals experiencing various neurological, orthopedic disorders, and mental health injuries;
- You will assist clients with establishing and meeting meaningful goals in their homes and in community settings such as malls, coffee shops, libraries, and more;
- You will create and implement individualized treatment plans based on analysis and clinical reasoning;
- You will liaise with a variety of community partners and rehab professionals to facilitate client goals and independence
Qualifications:
- You have a Masters University Degree in Occupational Therapy;
- You have a university degree in Occupational Therapy and are registered in good standing with COTO.
- You are a member in good standing with the Ontario College of Occupational Therapists (COTO) or possess the ability to obtain a P license;
- You have a valid Drivers License and access to a vehicle;
- You have strong verbal and written communication skills
