Fire Ridge Transport is hiring experienced Class 1 drivers to run side dump trailers on earthworks and civil construction projects around Grande Prairie. This is a local role based out of Grande Prairie: most nights you're home, with occasional camp stays when a project calls for it. No long-haul, no rotation schedules.
What you bring:
- Valid Alberta Class 1 licence (air brake / Q endorsement)
- 3+ years of commercial driving experience in the Alberta oil patch; log trucking or tanker experience on oilfield roads is an asset
- Current H2S Alive certification
- Current Standard First Aid with CPR
- Ground Disturbance Level II (or willing to complete before start)
- A clean driving record; your abstract will be reviewed as part of screening, focused on recent history and safety-relevant convictions
- Familiarity with ELD systems and Alberta's hours-of-service rules for commercial drivers
- Comfortable with long shifts, variable terrain, and Peace Country weather
