UCSH is looking for a full time Shipper/Receiver position. This is an on-site position in our Scarborough location.
WHAT’S THE JOB ABOUT?
Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, the Shipper/Receiver position is responsible for all general receiving, tagging and shipping responsibilities. The candidate requires to update/track inventory and move pallets around in the warehouse.
Some of the work you will do, but not limited to:
- Receive products by agreeing to purchase orders, physical quantity count verifications, record the inventory in the system
- Inspect products received for damage and prepare any necessary documentation and communications to appropriate parties
- Tag hardware in accordance to the project and update inventory in the system
- Gather products for shipment by identifying, picking, packing, wrapping, labelling and securing product
- Ensure and verify completeness and accuracy of shipping documentation
- Load picked orders on to trucks upon arrival
- Maintain inventory by identifying and properly recording location of inventory and related movements through the system
- Visit onsite on hardware check-in, sites cannot be in town or out of town
- Other duties as assigned
WE ARE LOOKING FOR SOMONE LIKE YOU WHO HAS:
- Minimum high school diploma or 1 – 2 years of experience working as a shipper/receiver position
- Experience working in the warehouse setting environment is an asset
- Excellent physical condition and coordination to be able to lift boxes or move pallets up to 50lbs
- Forklift License is an asset
- Valid Driver’s License and comfortable to drive in town or out of town, if required
- Excellent attention to detail
- Basic mathematical skills
- Good Communication Skills
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft office, especially in excel
- Strong organizational and time management skills
