Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Store Supervisor to lead our retail team and oversee daily store operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a comprehensive understanding of retail management. Your 1 -3 years of quick service experience in a supervisory role combined with your practical knowledge of recruiting, training and coaching team members makes you an ideal candidate for this role.
Duties
- Lead and supervise store staff, including recruiting, training, and developing team members to ensure high performance and customer satisfaction
- Oversee daily store operations, including merchandising, inventory management, purchasing, and pricing strategies
- Must be able to lift 25 lbs
- Manage POS systems, cash handling, bookkeeping, and payroll processes with accuracy and adherence to company policies
- Implement marketing initiatives to attract new customers and retain existing ones
- Monitor sales performance and develop strategies to achieve sales targets
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and company standards across the store
- Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints promptly, and maintain excellent phone etiquette
- Conduct regular staff meetings to communicate goals, updates, and training opportunities
- Manage administrative tasks such as scheduling, budgeting, and maintaining organizational records
Experience
- Proven supervisory or managerial experience in retail or related fields with a strong background in store management
- Demonstrated skills in sales management, merchandising, pricing strategies, and marketing techniques
- Proficiency in POS systems, cash handling, bookkeeping, payroll processing, and administrative functions
- Excellent negotiation skills coupled with effective communication skills in both bilingual (preferred) or multilingual settings
- Experience in recruiting, interviewing, training & development of staff, as well as supervising teams effectively
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of retail sales techniques, customer service excellence, and leadership principles
- Ability to handle budgeting responsibilities while maintaining attention to detail in math-related tasks
