HYATT house - Bartender
HYATT house is an extended-stay, residential-style hotel that aims to provide individual travelers with the feel of a modern condominium. The 135 room property offers the comforts of home such as fully equipped kitchens, flat panel HDTVs and free high-speed internet access. The public space features facilities such as a pool, a fitness center and a business center. A full breakfast every morning and an evening social on weekday evenings are complimentary to guests. HYATT house properties are located in urban, airport and suburban locations and can accommodate small corporate meetings and corporate clients seeking to place their employees on extended assignment.
A Bartender/server is responsible for the quick and efficient service of food and beverage while maintaining a professional appearance and demonstrating key service qualities of a Hyatt associate. A bartender/server is responsible for making all drink and food orders and providing them to servers along with guests dining at the bar.
The right person should be familiar with the latest in mixology, bar equipment, and sanitation standards, with a focus on maintaining an attractive bar. They must be able to maintain a clean and organized service area and restock supplies needed for the next service period. Additionally willing to assist when requested other departments during bursts of business that creates and nurtures a team environment. This position offers opportunity for casual conversation, creativity and allows for building on one’s style and previous bartending experiences. Preferred candidates will have understanding of state and local serving guidelines.

Qualifications
- A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast paced environment.
- Previous bartending experience strongly preferred
- Must have beverage knowledge (wine, beer and spirit)
- Outstanding customer service & communication skills
- Ability to multi-task
- Problem solving, computer & math skills
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Ability to carry, lift, pull, and push a moderate weight
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule, evening schedule, including weekends and holidays

Pay: $17.00-$20.00 per hour
