The Research Technician will work under the direction of a Principal Investigator, and in collaboration with postdoctoral scholars and students, to prepare and conduct experiments and techniques to support whole-brain tissue processing, immunolabelling, three-dimensional imaging, and image analysis of non-human primate brain tissue, following set protocols and procedures in a research facility. The Research Technician will conduct SHIELD tissue preservation and delipidation and optical clearing using the LifeCanvas Radiant SmartBatch+ systems. The role will run multiplex immunofluorescence and imaging with confocal, widefield, and Miltenyi Ultramicroscope Blaze II light-sheet microscopes. The Research Technician will conduct data conversion, stitching, visualization, and analysis using specialized software and prepare reports as required.
