Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in both commercial and industrial painting, as well as a strong understanding of construction processes. This role requires excellent time management and communication skills, along with the ability to read specifications and execute tasks efficiently. The Technician will be responsible for restoring and maintaining various surfaces, ensuring high-quality finishes that meet our standards.
Duties
- Perform commercial and industrial painting tasks, including surface preparation and application of paint, epoxies, urethanes ect.
- Restore surfaces by repairing drywall, caulking, and applying appropriate finishes.
- Read and interpret specifications/TDS/SDS to determine project scopes and methodology for paint/coating installation.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients to ensure project expectations are met.
- Manage time efficiently to complete projects within designated timelines.
Requirements
- Proven experience in commercial and industrial painting.
- Strong skills in drywall repair, caulking, and surface restoration techniques.
- Ability to use heavy equipment, grinders, blasters for concrete preparation
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong communication skills for collaboration with team members and clients.
- Applicant must have a valid Alberta Drivers License and functioning vehicle to get to and from work
- Attention to detail to ensure high-quality workmanship.
