Duties
- Read and interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately layout piping systems.
- Fit and Weld piping using various welding techniques such as MIG (Metal Inert Gas) and TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas) welding to ensure secure connections.
- Utilize hand tools, calipers, and other precision measuring devices to achieve exact specifications.
- Maintain a clean work environment by adhering to safety protocols and properly handling materials and tools.
- Proven experience in pipefitting within manufacturing or construction settings is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, plumbing codes, schematics, and blueprint reading.
- Skilled in MIG welding, TIG welding, and general welding practices with certification preferred.
- Ability to operate hand tools, calipers, and other precision measurement instruments confidently.
- Mechanical aptitude with a solid understanding of schematics, manufacturing processes, and maintenance procedures.
